Eat Smart, Move More, Prevent Diabetes (ESMMPD) is a free, CDC-recognized online diabetes prevention program designed for adults with prediabetes or those at risk for developing type 2 diabetes. Through live, interactive classes, participants learn practical strategies for healthy eating, increasing physical activity, managing weight, and creating lasting lifestyle changes that support long-term health.
This evidence-based program is delivered in a real-time online format, allowing participants to interact directly with their instructor and fellow participants during each session. Over the course of the program, participants build skills in planning, tracking progress, and mindful living while working toward achievable health goals.

There is no cost to participate, although donations are always appreciated. A limited number of seats are available for eligible older adults in the AgeWays service area, and pre-registration is required.
