What is Trualta and how does it support family caregivers?

Trualta is an online education platform for family caregivers that is available at no cost through AgeWays to caregivers who live or care for someone in our six-county region. Trualta gives caregivers access to practical, easy-to-follow content on topics such as dementia care, managing challenging behaviors in dementia, preventing falls, and caring for yourself while caring for someone else. The program uses flexible learning methods, including video presentations, readings, and live webinars. It also includes access to moderated chat groups where you can connect with and learn from other people who are caring for a loved one.

How do I sign up for Trualta through AgeWays?

Who is eligible for the Trualta caregiver online learning program?

Family caregivers residing or caring for someone 60 or older residing in Livingston, Macomb, Monroe, Oakland, St. Clair, or Washtenaw counties in Michigan are eligible for a free subscription through AgeWays.

Is there any cost to use Trualta?

No. Family caregivers living or caring for someone who lives in the AgeWays six-county service region (Livingston, Macomb, Monroe, Oakland, St. Clair and Washtenaw) can use Trualta at no cost. You just need to register.
