Community Connector
WAVE’s fixed-route shuttle that connects bus-stops to frequently visited or hard to reach destinations. Runs 7 days a week. The full bus schedule is on their website.

Chelsea Community Ride
The Chelsea Community Ride is a free, seven day per week, community shuttle transportation service for all Chelsea residents.

Group Trips and Shuttles
WAVE provides trips for qualifying groups under MDOT Guidelines and shuttles for the community. Request information by filling out the form on their website.

Door to Door Service
You can request to ride the WAVE bus by calling or emailing dispatch. Include all details of the request and if the rider qualifies for a discount.
The WAVE driver will pull up to the pickup address in a bus or minivan (all WAVE vehicles are ADA compliant). The Driver can assist riders from their door to the WAVE vehicle – drivers can not go inside any buildings. They legally have to stay in view of their vehicle.
Door-to-Door rides are rideshare – there may be other people in the vehicle and may stop before reaching your destination.
Pick-up can occur anywhere within WAVE’s coverage area. Destinations can be anywhere within their coverage area and Washtenaw County.
Rides are for any age, any reason (work, medical, shop, dinner, etc).
Children 12+ years old can ride without a guardian, however guardians may fill out a permission slip to allow children 6-11 years old to ride without them.

ADVANTAGE Card – Register to Ride
ADVANTAGE (Affordable Discounts for Verified Access to Needed Transit and General Eligibility) provides reduced fare access to eligible riders, including seniors, students, income-qualified individuals, and others who qualify for special programs.
