South Eastern Michigan Indians (SEMI) is a non profit Urban Indian center, providing human services for American Indians & others eligible for services. Since 1975, SEMI has offered employment, training, and education support. SEMI offers a food pantry and basic-needs assistance; culturally grounded health programs (Type 2 diabetes prevention/reversal and anti-commercial-tobacco initiatives, distinct from traditional tobacco use); and community wellness.
