The Monroe Aging Consortium, in partnership with AgeWays Nonprofit Senior Services, is hosting a Caregiver Summit at LaRoy’s Hall in La Salle. The event includes brunch and presentations by Jim Mangi, PhD, a longtime caregiver for his wife who will speak on “Navigating the Emotional and Mental Stress of Caregiving for Someone with Dementia,” and Dr. Emily Neal, PT LSVT-BIG, who will give a talk on “Caring for the Caregiver.”
The event includes a panel discussion led by the Monroe Aging Consortium, vendor tables, and a basket raffle drawing.
A $5 donation is suggested to cover the cost of brunch.
