Ramp and Minor Home Repair
- Provides grants of up to $7,500 for necessary improvements (includes making home Accessible). Provides 1% fixed loans of up to $20,000, with a maximum of 20 years to repay, to improve or modernize home. May qualify for a combination of a Grant and loan. Loans of $7,500 or more require a mortgage.
- Both programs: must be owner-occupant of a single-family dwelling in a rural area and meet annual income requirements. To qualify for the Grant, recipients must be age 62 or older and unable to qualify for the loan. To qualify for loan, must be a reasonable credit risk.
