Whitmore Lake Area Human Services (WLAHS) connects residents of the greater Whitmore Lake area with essential social services to support health, independence, and well-being. Onsite services include a market-style food pantry (with delivery available in Whitmore Lake). WLAHS also partners with local agencies to connect clients to services such as health care through the Hamilton-Whitmore Lake Clinic (primary care, behavioral health, insurance assistance), free transportation to clinic appointments for Green Oak and Northfield township residents through People’s Express, and wellness programs such as screenings, health risk assessments, fitness programs, and community events.
Eligibility: Open to all; food pantry services do not require ID, proof of income, or residency. Partner programs may have other eligibility requirements.
