Keeping You Safe, Supported, and Independent at Home

The Adaptive Wellness program helps adults age 60 and older stay safe and independent at home by providing assistive devices and technology. Through this program, seniors can receive practical tools that make daily tasks easier and reduce the risk of falls or injuries.

Who the Program Serves

• Adults age 60 and older
• Living at home
• Have a need for assistive devices or technology to help them remain safe and independent

How It Works

An AgeWays-certified home safety specialist will visit the home to complete a safety assessment. During this visit, they will:

• Look at how the home is set up
• Identify safety risks or barriers to independence
• Recommend specific assistive devices or technology based on the senior’s needs

If eligible, the senior may receive items that support their safety and daily activities.
