Older Adults Should Plan to Get Help Early This Tax Season

Many seniors turn to their senior center or other community resources for help with their taxes. This year, many centers still have limited appointments available, making it critical for seniors and family caregivers to reach out early to get an appointment booked:

Livingston County:

Bloomfield Township Library: 1099 Lone Pine Road. Please register through West Bloomfield Parks and Recreation at 248- 451-1900. Tax appointments are on Thursday, March 13, and April 3.
Southfield Adult Recreation Center: 26000 Evergreen Road, Southfield. Please call 248-796-4650 to schedule an in-person appointment or go online. Appointments will be available weekdays from Feb. 1-April 11.
