Provides utility assistance for Consumer’s Energy and DTE customers in need. Funding is limited.
Must meet annual income requirements. Must bring identification and proof of income for all who live in the household and the shut-off notice.
Food Pantries
Focus Hope is a monthly food program.
The Emergency Food Assistance Program (TEFAP) is offered quarterly throughout the year.
Senior groceries provides a monthly bag of groceries.
Emergency food is distributed Monday-Friday, 9AM-11:30AM and Monday-Friday, 1PM-3PM.
Homeless food provides food items that require little or no cooking.
Focus Hope: Must be age 60 or older with a monthly income of $1,127 or less for one person or $1,517 or less for two persons. Must be certified by showing proof of age, income, identification, social security number and number of people in household. Senior groceries serves people age 55 or older.
