Our classes and workshops help family caregivers in southeast Michigan and metro Detroit take care of themselves while caring for an aging or disabled relative or friend. It doesn’t matter what your situation is—whether you are caring for someone who lives with you, lives in an assisted living facility or a nursing home, or you’re a long-distance caregiver. Our classes and workshops are free and are typically held in neighborhoods across our six-county region. We’re currently holding classes virtually, and you can participate using your smartphone, tablet or computer. Advance registration is required. Call (833) 262-2200 or contact us by email to sign up or find a class near you.
Classes meet once a week for 6 weeks. Each class is an hour and 30 minutes long. Classes are small—with only 8 to 12 people. Going through the class together as a small group helps class members get to know each other and learn from each other.
