Adult Day Program

New Gateways is a nonprofit community activity program in Waterford, MI, dedicated to adults age 26+ with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The program fosters independence, skill building, and social connection through vocational and non-vocational activities, cultural enrichment, health and wellness programs, arts, recreation, and frequent community outings.

Eligibility: Applicants must be 26 or older, have an intellectual or developmental disability, demonstrate readiness for community activities, and participate in a 2–3 day trial process. Admission requires a current Person-Centered Plan and supporting documents. New Gateways is not a medical facility and cannot provide nursing care.
