SameAddress, a first-of-its-kind, one-source service, provides seniors with the support needed to live safely and comfortably at home
What is SameAddress?
SameAddress offers contemporary and comprehensive lifestyle solutions– Senior Concierge and Senior Care– that allow seniors to live at home, while delivering the safety, household, and personal care services that make daily living easier and better. SameAddress is a program of the Area Agency on Aging 1-B and a social enterprise committed to improving the lives of seniors, and those requiring assistance to stay in their homes and communities.
What is Senior Concierge?
For seniors with an active lifestyle, the SameAddress Senior Concierge program offers a personal concierge who provides access to a broad range of safety, comfort, and home services. Cost of the Senior Concierge solution varies based on the services a client engages, however, for about the price of two nights in a four-star hotel, a senior can have a personal concierge for a full year.
What is Senior Care?
For seniors requiring assistance to remain independent, the Senior Care solution offers a customized care plan based on an individual’s health assessment. The plan is driven by dCare – data-directed care centered on evolving personal information – to
ensure the best possible continuous support. Costs vary depending on individual plans, services requested, and the care provided. Typical monthly Senior Care expenses may range from $50-$1,000. A comprehensive Senior Care plan is usually considerably less expensive than a senior living facility.
What is the relationship between SameAddress and Area Agency on Aging?
SameAddress is a program of the federally and state-supported Area Agency on Aging 1-B, a trusted non-profit senior resource for more than 40 years. The association with Area Agency on Aging 1-B provides SameAddress with experience, expertise, and a wealth of resources that focus on the comfort and care of seniors.
We have the same mission as the Area Agency on Aging 1-B and use similar processes, however SameAddress caters to the needs of the private
pay market.
Where does SameAddress operate?
SameAddress offers services in six Southeast Michigan counties – Livingston, Macomb, Monroe, Oakland, St. Clair, and Washtenaw. There are plans for the program to expand to other areas.
